Easter vs Christmas

I've been working sunday and talked to a women there, as we talked we came to speak about Easter that is just right around the corner. As we talked about Eshe told me for her always Christmas was the bigger celebration cause it is the day Jesus was born until someone once told her Easter is bigger cause it is a 3 day celebration. I've been thinking about it alot recently. I first wanna give you a short definition of Easter and Christmas that I found online.

3. Christmastide.

For me both are showing the love God is having for us. But let us look closer what Christmas is about.

Christmas is about the birth of Jesus, the Son of God. Christmas is the celebration of love where Jesus became human out of love. 

Easter is about Jesus death and his resurrection. Easter is about forgiveness and the love, Jesus paid for our sin. Easter is about the pure love God is having for us even if it means that we celebrate the death of his son. Through the death of Jesus and his rising we are saved. At Easter we are reminded that we are worth it. You are worth to die for, this is what Jesus thinks. He loves you more than you can think of and he paid the highest price for you. He paid with his life so you can live, so we can have eternal life!!
Jesus proposed on the cross to you and asked you to be his bride in heaven. If you say yes to him on the cross your life will change forever.
We can also see easter as a simple math thing. It is easy and you just have to do this simple math

It is true, Easter is bigger than Christmas. Through Easter we can bring everything to the cross. But we also shouldnt forget about Christmas cause without Christmas Jesus wouldnt be able to pay for our sin.
I would say both Easter and Christmas are importan and we should remind ourself not just at these days but always that God loves you and that he will never leave you. He paid such a high price for all of us cause he loves us and he loves us even we are still sinners. One thing we just always have to remember is him.
When you read this and you have never felt the love I pray that he will touch your heart and know that he will love you forever. All you have to do is to bring all before the cross and welcome him into your life.
As Easter is comeing closer let's remember what easter is about and dont get to busy by thinking about what to buy for people. Think of his love and how you can give his love back to others for me it is that I want to serve others with all my heart and love just as Jesus served us.
